Tinkers' Integrations and Tweaks

by wendall911

Tinkers' Integrations and Tweaks adds Manasteel, Livingwood and Livingstone as Tinkers' Construct materials, with modifiers that let tools draw repair from mana.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.18.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Manasteel can be melted in the smeltery, and parts made from it gain a Mana modifier. A tool carrying that modifier can be repaired with any inventory item that generates mana, at a cost of 60 mana per repair. Livingwood is added as a tool part material, and its modifier cuts material repair costs by 75 percent. Livingstone joins as another part material with stats better than rock, and a Terra upgrade modifier can be applied to primary weapons.

The mod is built around balanced integration rather than adding materials from other mods without reason. Each material is placed where it fits, and the integration abilities copy the capability of the mod they come from, so some are fixed in code on purpose. Almost everything else is datapack driven and can be overridden with a datapack. Mantle and Tinkers' Construct are required, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.18.2, 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 2.0.26.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. The code is under the MIT License and is open source.

Yes. Tinkers' Construct and Mantle are both required dependencies, so both must be installed alongside this mod.

What the author says

The main goal here is to not just add a bunch of random new materials from mods and call it "integration". The goal is to add materials where it makes sense, and capture the capabilities of other mods tools and armors in Tinkers' Construct. This started with Botania and wanting to have the ability to use mana…
