Vein Mining
With Vein Mining, a tool enchanted at a higher level can break a whole connected cluster of matching blocks in one action.
What it does
The mod adds the Vein Mining enchantment for tools. When an enchanted tool breaks a block, neighboring blocks of the same kind that are connected to it are broken as well, so an ore vein can be removed in one pass. The enchantment and its mining logic are configurable, letting players and modpack developers adjust how much balance the enchantment has. The settings live in three TOML files inside the config folder, one each for the client, the server and the shared common options, and the mod's wiki covers them in more detail.
Vein Mining is released for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for 1.16.4 – 1.21 across 16 release versions. It needs Fabric API on Fabric, and Quilted Fabric API (QFAPI) or Quilt Standard Libraries (QSL) on Quilt. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later. Tinker's Vein Miner requires it.
