Enchanting Infuser

by Fuzs

With the Enchanting Infuser, players pick the exact enchantments they want on an item, replacing the random rolls of a vanilla enchanting table.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMozilla Public License 2.0Open source1.19 – 26.3

What it does

The mod adds a new enchanting table with two tiers. The basic infuser handles straightforward enchanting, while the advanced infuser can also change enchantments already on an item, repair gear with experience levels, and recover experience from items that are no longer wanted. Bookshelves around the infuser raise the stronger enchantments and higher levels on offer, as they do for a vanilla table.

Costs, enchantment availability, treasure enchantments, repair rules and other mechanics are adjustable in the config files, so server owners can tune the progression. The mod is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and is required on both the client and the server. It needs Fabric API on Fabric, Forge Config API Port and Puzzles Lib, and Forge Config Screens is optional. Files cover 1.19 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.

Key features

  1. Chosen enchantments

The infuser applies only the enchantments the player selects, so results do not depend on random rolls.

  2. Bookshelf progression

Bookshelves placed around the infuser raise the enchantments and levels on offer.

  3. Editing existing enchantments

The advanced infuser upgrades, removes and adjusts enchantments on items that are already enchanted.

  4. Repair with experience

Durability is restored by spending experience levels rather than repair materials.

  5. Disenchanting for experience

Unwanted items can be disenchanted, returning experience in a way similar to a grindstone.

  6. Enchanted books

The infuser also creates enchanted books, and an optional setting allows enchantments normally limited to anvils.
