Enchantment Infusion
by Karashok-Leo
Enchantment Infusion adds an infusion table and pedestals that apply enchantments to items placed on the table.
What it does
The mod adds two blocks: a table placed at the centre of a layout and pedestals arranged around it. Items are set on the pedestals in any order, as the recipe calls for, and the item to be enchanted goes on the table. After a few seconds the enchanting finishes. Right-clicking with an item in hand places it on a block, and right-clicking empty-handed takes it back off.
The directional enchanting method draws on the Enchanting Apparatus recipes of Ars Nouveau. Recipes are JSON files, each holding one recipe of the enchantment infusion type. Several default recipes reuse the Ars Nouveau design but rely on vanilla items. A second recipe type, the simple infusion, is available as well. The built-in REI and EMI plug-ins let players view recipes in either of those mods.
The mod requires Fabric API on the Fabric loader. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only. The author notes the mod has not been tested thoroughly and is still in beta.
