Fusion Smithing

Fusion Smithing lets players copy the enchantments and other NBT data from one item onto another through a smithing template, for Fabric on 1.20.1.
What it does
The mod adds a Fusion Smithing Template that carries NBT data, including enchantments, from one item to another item in a smithing table. Only the client and the server need to run it together, and Fabric API must be installed beside it. The source code, issue tracker and wiki are public, and the license is MIT, so the code is open source. Files exist for 1.20.1 only, with 1.1.0 as the latest, published on 2024-11-01.

Enchantment transfer
The template moves enchantments and other NBT data from a source item onto a target item in one smithing step.
Template loot placement
The template can be kept out of End City treasure chests by editing the injected loot table entries, which can be left blank.
Datapack recipes
Recipes for the template can be added or changed through a datapack, so server owners set how it is crafted.

Better Template Crafting is a Fabric mod for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, released under the MIT License and not open source. SmithingUpgraders+ is also Fabric only, for 1.20.1 – 1.20.4, and is under All rights reserved. Enchanting Templates is open source under the MIT License, but is built for 1.21.1 alone.

This mod adds a item - Fusion Smithing Template, which allows you to transfer the nbt (including enchantments) of one item to another item. If you don't want the template to appear in the treasure chest of the End City, you can modify the "injected_loot_table" entry to another loot table, or just leave it blank.
