VeinMiner breaks a whole ore vein when one block of it is mined, with commands to set which blocks and tools count.

What it does

Mining one block of a vein removes the connected blocks of the same group in one go. Ores and pickaxes are set up by default. Block groups let several block types be treated as the same block, and a block can belong to more than one group. Settings such as sneaking requirements or tool durability loss are changed with /veinminer commands, globally or per group.

The mod runs on the server, so players without it can still use it, and the optional VeinMiner Hotkey add-on gives clients a key to trigger it. The server needs the mod, while players may add it. On Fabric it requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin; on Forge style loaders it requires KotlinLangForge. It is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only, and builds also exist for Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, Purpur, Folia and as a data pack.
