Accessories
by Wisp Forest
Accessories lets players equip extra items such as rings, necklaces and charms in dedicated slots next to the armor, and lets other mods register their own slot types.
What it does
Accessory slots are defined in data files rather than in code, so a modpack maker or another mod can add slot types and assign items to them. The mod ships a unique slot API for accessories that belong to a specific mod. Hooks already exist for behaviors such as neutral piglin handling, enderman masks, looting and fortune changes, and walking on snow. Accessories that carry NBT data keep their stored properties.
The library follows the approach of the Curios and Trinkets accessory mods, whose authors TheIllusiveC4 and emilyploszaj are credited. Both Fabric and NeoForge builds need Cloth Config API and oωo (owo-lib), and Fabric builds also need Fabric API. Client and server installs are both needed, and the source is released under the MIT License, with files for 1.20.1 – 1.21.10.
