What it does

Some Fabric mods are written in Kotlin rather than Java. This library provides what those mods need to load and run under Fabric Loader. It adds no blocks, items or features to the game by itself; it is a dependency that other mods declare.

Because it only depends on Fabric Loader, the same build works independently of the game version. The catalog lists files for 48 release versions, builds cover 1.14 – 26.3, plus snapshot builds. The latest file, 1.14.2+kotlin.2.4.21, was published on 2026-10-09. The code is under the Apache License 2.0, so it is open source. Either side can run it, and neither needs it.
