Enchantment Descriptions adds a short explanation of each enchantment to the tooltip of enchanted books.

What it does

Enchantment names alone rarely say what they do. This mod adds a description to the tooltip of enchanted books, covering every vanilla enchantment in more than 13 languages and most enchantments from other mods.

It needs Bookshelf, Prickle and Fabric API. Players need it on their client, while a server may run it as well. Releases span 1.9.4 – 26.3 across 47 release versions; Fabric and NeoForge are at 26.3.0.2 for 26.3, while Forge and Quilt end at 1.21.1. The license is the open-source GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only.
