Particle Effects
by K-TEAM
Particle Effects, a visual mod by K-TEAM, gives every effect in vanilla Minecraft its own textured particle sprite.
What it does
The mod replaces the default particles that vanilla Minecraft shows for actions and events with custom textured sprites. Each effect in the base game receives a distinct look, so a hit, a splash or a spell reads differently on screen. It works in multiplayer as well, since the particles are drawn on each player's own screen.
Only the client needs it, so players install it while servers run without it. Fabric API is required on every loader it supports, and Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are optional companions. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, and the code is covered by the Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0 license, so the mod is not open source.
The project keeps public links to its source code, issue tracker and wiki. Files were first published on 2024-07-13, and the most recent update is dated 2026-09-22.
