Adds a large set of new paintings to the game, each one drawn by a member of the community and placeable with the normal painting item.

What it does

The new paintings come in a range of sizes and art styles and blend with the vanilla paintings, so they appear in the same painting selection. Dark Paintings also adds creative-tab items that place one specific design directly where a player chooses. Installation needs Bookshelf and Fabric API, and the files are used on the client and server together.

Dark Paintings is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only, with public links to its source code and issue tracker. Files cover game versions 1.15.2 – 26.3 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and snapshot builds are published as well.

Does Dark Paintings need Bookshelf?

Yes. Bookshelf is a required dependency, and Fabric API is also required on Fabric, so both must be installed alongside the mod.

Do players and the server both need Dark Paintings?

Yes. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.
