Boat Item View keeps the held item visible in the player's hand during a boat ride, a view the base game does not offer.

What it does

While a player sits in a moving boat, the held item is drawn in the hand, which vanilla Minecraft does not do. A config option named showHandsInMovingBoat turns this rendering on or off, and a second setting chooses which item types are drawn while the boat moves.

The mod only changes rendering on the player's own screen. Held items stay unusable while the boat travels, and the mod does not alter server-side logic. Client-side only, so it should not be installed on dedicated servers. Cloth Config API is bundled inside the mod, and Fabric API and Mod Menu are optional; Mod Menu adds an in-game configuration screen.
