Boats but long, by ananasem, adds longer versions of the vanilla boats that seat up to five players and are steered together with paddles.
What it does
Each vanilla boat type gets a long counterpart about three times the size of the original. A long boat fits five entities, with three players seated in fixed spots and paddles held by several players at once. Two vanilla boats of the same type combined in the crafting grid, with no fixed shape, produce the matching long boat.
Speed rises as more players paddle, and the boat moves about three times faster with three players paddling than a vanilla boat with the same number of paddlers. Players share control of the forward speed equally, while the player seated at the rear has the most say over direction and the player at the front has the least. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later and needs Fabric API and Quirky Vehicles Framework. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files cover 1.21 – 1.21.3 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
