Enchanting Reimagined
Enchanting Reimagined changes how enchantments are applied, split, upgraded and combined at a workstation placed in villages, and it replaces parts of the vanilla enchanting table.
What it does
The mod adds an enchanting workstation that can extract, upgrade, combine and split enchantments on books and items. Enchantment dust is crafted from diamonds and ender pearls, and an advanced dust type is available as well. Upgrades can push enchantments one level above their vanilla maximum, and that limit is configurable. Workstations generate in a new village house type, so an early world can have one before any are crafted.
The mod also reworks the enchanting table. Its random outcomes can be replaced by a set of rules, and an optional setting removes the table recipe entirely, so enchantments can only be obtained from the world. Costs for each operation, such as applying an enchanted book to an item or smelting an enchanted book, are set in the config. Defaults use one experience level per added enchantment level, five levels for a curse scrubber, and two levels per repair. Enchanting Reimagined runs on client and server and is published for Fabric only, across 17 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3, under the MIT License, and the source code is open source.
