Stellaris
Stellaris adds space exploration to Minecraft, with planets, moons and galaxies to reach, rockets to build and alien species to face.
What it does
Players craft rockets from a set of rocket components, which can be upgraded step by step and customized for different flights. Each planet and moon has its own environment and gravity, and some hold alien plant and animal life or rare minerals and treasures. Travel between these bodies is the core of the mod.
Advanced energy systems, machines for extracting and processing resources, and tools made for survival in space are added alongside the rockets. Some alien species are hostile and call for combat planning. Difficulty and complexity can be adjusted in the settings, so the same mod suits casual play and harder space survival.
The mod works in multiplayer, so groups can travel together, build collaboratively and explore the galaxy as a team. It runs on the client and the server, so both need it. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license, and it is not open source. Architectury API, ExoConfig, Fabric API, Potentials and Sky Aesthetics are required dependencies.
