Quark
by Vazkii
Quark is a large modular collection of small vanilla-improving features, with over a hundred modules that can each be switched on or off.
What it does
Each Quark feature is a separate module that can be enabled or disabled on its own, and most modules offer further options to adjust the behavior. A new q button on the title screen opens the configuration from inside the game, so unwanted features can be turned off without editing files. Quark has built-in compatibility for JEI and TerraBlender, and may conflict with Optifine, in which case a Sodium fork is suggested instead.
Quark is installed on Forge and NeoForge, and it requires Zeta on all supported versions from 1.20.1 onward, or AutoRegLib on 1.19.2 and earlier. Quark runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are available for 1.9.4 – 1.21.1, and the license is CC-BY-NC-SA-3.0, which is not open source. Source code, an issue tracker and a wiki are publicly linked.
