Sky Aesthetics
Sky Aesthetics changes the sky over a Minecraft world, from the skybox and sun and moon to the night sky and the clouds and rain.
What it does
The mod swaps the default sky for a custom skybox and lets an object appear in it. The sun and moon can be given a different texture or resized, and the sky color and sunset color can be changed. The night sky can be made more colorful, with points of light that move, while clouds and rain can be removed from the view.
Sky Aesthetics is a client-side only mod, so only the player's game needs it; servers run without it. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge across 11 release versions, 1.20.4 – 26.3, and is released under the MIT License as open source. It is required by Stellaris, which means that mod cannot run without this one.
Files for 26.3 are in beta, dated 2026-09-30, on both loaders. The project has public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki.
