EssentialAddons brings Essentials-style commands and gameplay options to Fabric servers, built on the Carpet mod.
What it does
Carpet Extension provides many gameplay and creative tools on a Fabric server, and EssentialAddons is a ported Essentials plugin that adds further server features on top of it. Its options are switched on and off through the carpet command, each with a default value and a set of allowed values, and several are tagged as survival, experimental or survival feature options.
Permissions for the added commands can be customised through a permissions mod such as LuckPerms, so server owners decide which players may use each one. The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing it. Its required dependencies are Carpet, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin.
Files are published for Fabric only, across 32 release versions 1.16.5 – 26.3. The latest Fabric file is 2.6.2+26.3 for 26.3, released 2026-09-27. The code is open source under the MIT License.
