ServerReplay
by senseiwells
Players who want replay files of a live server can have ServerReplay record chunks or individual players on the server itself, for later use with Replay Mod or Flashback.
What it does
ServerReplay records replays on the server side, so the output can later be rendered in Replay Mod or Flashback. Several online players, or chunk areas, can be recorded at the same time, and each recording produces replay files tied to the recording. Recorded chunks can be unloaded without affecting the replay, and the recorder does not load chunks on its own.
The mod is server-side only, so only the server needs it, and players join without installing Replay Mod or Flashback. It runs on Fabric and requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin. LuckPerms is optional for permission handling. Files target 1.17.1 – 26.3, with 3.6.0-beta.5+26.3 as the latest Fabric file, released under the MIT License and open source.
Key features
Static chunk recording
Chunks can be recorded as static areas with an exact size that is not limited by the server view distance.
Individual player recording
A recorder can be attached to one player and records that player's point of view from the server.
No chunk flicker
Unloading and reloading chunks does not cause flickering in the replay, since the recorded data is kept separate from the world.
Automatic pause and resume
Recorders can pause and resume based on whether chunks are loading or whether players are inside them.
Automated recordings
Recordings can be started from the configuration, and operators or anyone with permission can begin them at any time.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Server owners who want to produce replays of their own server, and operators who need recordings started by staff rather than by each player.
How it compares
Flashback Settings is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and published for 26.2. Cameraman is server-side only, not open source, and published for 1.21.11 under All rights reserved. Player Behavior Record is server-side only, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, and published for 1.16.5, so it covers a much older version range than ServerReplay.

A completely server-side implementation of Replay Mod and Flashback, this mod allows you to record multiple players that are online, or chunk areas, on a server at a time. This will produce replay files which can then be used with the replay mod or flashback for rendering. Compared to the client Replay Mod or…
