What it does

Valcon is an addon core for Starfell modpacks and is built for the NeoForge loader on Minecraft 1.21.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Its own files are in beta, with the latest published as 0.9.1.2 on 2026-09-13. The code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the source and issue tracker are public. The project is open source.

Several other mods are required alongside it: Accessories, Alloyed, Armory (RPG Series), Artifacts, Bosses'Rise, Cook's Collection, Critical Strike, Farmer's Delight, Jaden's Nether Expansion, Jewelry (RPG Series), Manual Labour, Modest Magic, No Man's Land, Oreganized, Relics (RPG Series), Rogues & Warriors (RPG Series), Shield Expansion and Windswept. The author describes the project as still a work in progress.

    A new station applies enchanted tablets to soul steel, which turns into equipment.

  2. Lembas bread

    A filling food made from aethelas dough and gold, meant to restore a large amount of hunger.

  3. Bast statue

    A statue block gives nearby players resistance, working like a small beacon.

  4. Soulborn Blade and ashen steel

    A new weapon, the Soulborn Blade, and a set of ashen steel materials with handles join the item list.
