Bosses'Rise
With Bosses'Rise, each of five Souls-like bosses arrives in its own hand-built arena and fights through several phases.
What it does
Bosses'Rise adds five boss encounters to Minecraft. Each boss has its own arena, which generates as a structure somewhere in the world, along with a distinct moveset. Phases change the attack patterns partway through a fight, so a player has to read the encounter rather than simply outlast it. The bosses include the Infernal Dragon, the Underworld Knight and the Yeti, with the Kraken among the others.
The mod is built around Geckolib, which is required and must be installed alongside it. Bosses'Rise is published for Forge and NeoForge, and both sides need it because it runs on client and server. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.2 and 1.21.3, with 2.1.2 as the latest build for both loaders. The code is all rights reserved and is not open source. Two other catalog mods, Bosses'Rise Hide Dodge and Valcon, depend on it.

Bosses placed across the world give a survival player fixed goals, with gear rewards for each defeat.
Adventure maps
Custom arenas and phased fights suit adventure maps that want scripted-feeling boss encounters.
Who it’s for: Players who want boss fights with more structure than standard encounters, and server owners who want more difficulty content on a multiplayer server that has Geckolib installed.

What the author says
Bosses'Rise brings 5 Souls-like bosses to Minecraft: multi-phase fights, custom arenas and gear worth the scars. Bosses'Rise turns boss fights into real encounters. Each boss has its own arena, its own moveset and phases that change how you have to play, so winning comes from reading the fight instead of tanking it.
