YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses
YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses rebuilds Nether fortresses as larger, more intricate structures made of bridge networks, a central Keep and Lava Halls reaching underground.
What it does
Each generated fortress has three sections: bridge networks spanning the Nether, the Keep at its core, and Lava Halls that extend deep beneath the surface. Compared with the vanilla structure, these fortresses cover more ground, contain more rooms and offer more loot to find. The changes apply only to newly generated chunks, so existing worlds keep the fortresses they already have.
Some parts of the fortress can also use pieces from an optional add-on for supported game versions, chosen at random during generation. Worldgen and Nether biome mods can sit alongside these structures without being replaced. Installation requires Cloth Config API, Fabric API and YUNG's API, and Mod Menu is an optional addition. It is server-side only, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 12 release versions, with builds covering 1.18.2 – 26.1.2.
