Block Factory's Biomes

by BlockFactoryStudio

Block Factory's Biomes is a world generation mod that adds five new biomes to Forge and NeoForge worlds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, each with its own animals, plants and blocks.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Each of the five biomes has its own palette, landscape and mood, and carries wildlife and vegetation of its own. New animals roam the land and new trees, plants and flowers can be found, harvested and used in building. Custom blocks are tied to specific biomes, so decorating and collecting in them uses materials that are not found elsewhere. The biomes are generated through custom world generation and are meant to fit the terrain of existing worlds, so the new regions blend into the natural layout instead of sitting apart from it.

The additions follow Minecraft's art style and keep the base game's feel: the mod adds more variety and detail to exploration while leaving vanilla content intact. Players who explore new worlds or existing ones will find new areas over each hill. Installation is done with Forge or NeoForge alone, with no other dependency listed. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.5 for 1.20.1 as the latest Forge file and 1.1.0 for 1.21.1 as the latest NeoForge file. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Five new biomes

Five biomes with their own mood and landscape are added to the world through custom generation.

  2. Unique wildlife

New animals inhabit each biome, so the fauna changes from one region to the next.

  3. New flora and blocks

Fresh trees, plants and flowers can be harvested, alongside custom blocks that appear in specific biomes.

  4. Terrain that blends in

The generated terrain is meant to merge with existing worlds rather than stand apart from them.
