Simple Voice Chat

Simple Voice Chat adds proximity voice chat, so players hear each other based on distance, plus password-protected group chats.

What it does

Players nearby hear each other through push to talk or voice activation. Pressing V opens the voice chat screen with settings, group chats, muting, a recording control and an option to hide voice icons. Groups let players talk to others who are far away, and groups can be protected with a password.

The server needs special setup for voice traffic, described in the project wiki. Besides the mod loaders, builds exist for Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, Purpur, Folia, Velocity, BungeeCord and Waterfall. Optional integrations include AudioPlayer, Cloth Config API, LuckPerms, Sound Physics Remastered and Vanish. Source code is public, under All rights reserved.
