Just Enough Effect Descriptions (JEED)
With Just Enough Effect Descriptions installed, the status effect icons in JEI and the inventory screen open an Effects page that lists each effect's details.
What it does
Just Enough Effect Descriptions adds a new Effects recipe category to JEI. A player reaches it by selecting a status effect icon from the item view, or by selecting an active effect in its box on the inventory view. The page shows the items that can provide the effect, its description, the mod it comes from and its color.
Every registered status effect appears on the page automatically. Effects added by other mods show no description unless their developer supplies one in the language file under the key effect.[mod id].[effect name].description. Only food is detected as an effect source on its own, so developers add recipes for custom effects or custom effect-providing items.
The mod is installed on the client only, and it needs JEI, Roughly Enough Items, Stylish Effects or EMI on the client to show its pages; these four are optional dependencies. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, 1.16.3 – 26.1.2, under the All rights reserved license, and the code is not open source.

A player who receives an effect from a modded mob can open its page to read the description and find the items that produce it.
Adding effects from a modpack
Modpack authors can give a custom effect a description in the language file and link providing items through the recipe types.
