Colorful UI
by pustoykishka
Colorful UI lets players recolor the interface of Minecraft and of many installed mods, with a color picker and live preview.
What it does
The mod gives full control over the colors used in Minecraft's menus, HUD elements, inventories, buttons, hotbars, hearts and text. Colors can be changed in real time, and most edits show up almost instantly without restarting the game. A built-in texture management screen lets the player choose which textures are processed and recolored, and the mod can also recolor block textures when asked to.
Colorful UI works with many mods that use their own interface textures, and its settings open through Mod Menu from the title screen. Files cover Minecraft 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the environment is client-side only, so servers do not need the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License, and Architectury API, Fabric API and Mod Menu are required.
Key features
HSV color picker
An HSV color picker with a full color editor lets players choose and tweak shades without editing JSON files.
Live preview
Changes to a color or filter apply to the screen right away, so the result can be checked before settling on it.
Texture management screen
Textures can be selected, filtered and recolored one by one, including modded interface textures.
Advanced settings
Filters and per-texture options allow precise control over which textures change and how they are processed.

Recolored is a Forge mod for 1.19.4 – 1.20.1 that is client and server, and Colorful UI differs by targeting the interface rather than dyed items or the world.

What the author says
CUI gives you full control over Minecraft’s UI colors. Menus, HUD elements, inventories, buttons, hotbars, hearts, text, and even interfaces added by other mods can all be recolored in real time. Because apparently every mod author on earth independently decided that dark gray buttons on slightly darker gray…
