Presence Footsteps gives every block a material with its own footstep sounds, so walking on wood, stone or grass sounds different.

What it does

Each block is assigned a material, and steps on it play matching sounds: wooden chests creak, stone sounds dusty, piston heads sound like wood while their bodies sound like stone, tall grass rustles and magma hisses. Even stepping into cake has its own sound.

The mod continues an original by Huricaaan (Ha3), with all earlier features restored and new ones added. It runs on the client, requires Fabric API, embeds Kirin and has optional support for Mine Little Pony. Fabric and Quilt files reach 26.3; a LiteLoader build exists for 1.10. It is distributed under a custom license.

Does Presence Footsteps need anything else?

Fabric API is required. Kirin is embedded, and Mine Little Pony is optional.

Does the server need it?

No. Sounds are played on each player's own client.
