Better Conduit Placement
by Serilum
Players who build conduits by hand can place the whole beacon from the front of the frame with Better Conduit Placement, which is a server-side mod that needs Collective.
What it does
Holding the crouch button places a full conduit beacon almost instantly at any spot the player chooses. Clicking a conduit places prismarine blocks in the correct pattern around it, so the frame does not have to be assembled one block at a time. Once a conduit is surrounded by its full set of blocks, water replaces the non-conduit blocks that sit around it.
Two options control how blocks behave: breakConduitBlocks, which is on by default, drops every conduit block when the conduit is broken, and dropReplacedBlockTopConduit, also on by default, drops a normal block on top of the conduit when prismarine replaces it. The mod is a minimalistic, configurable tweak to conduit placement, and it runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 26.3.
Files cover 29 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, and the latest file is 26.3.0-3.6-fabric+forge+neo for 26.3, published 2026-10-02. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it. Collective must be installed as a required dependency. The code is not open source, and the mod is released as All rights reserved.
Key features

Prismarine placement by click

Crouch-triggered beacon build
Holding crouch builds a full conduit beacon almost instantly in any chosen location.
