Tree Harvester lets a player fell whole trees, warped trees and huge mushrooms with one axe swing by chopping a single base block.

What it does

Crouching and chopping any log of a tree removes the whole tree at once, and the time taken scales with how many logs it holds. Vanilla and modded trees both qualify, and warped trees in the Nether and huge mushrooms are included. Leaves decay quickly after a harvest, and a sapling is planted again once the last leaf is gone, using what the tree dropped.

The mod includes many checks that separate a tree from a building made of logs, so houses are not taken down by accident. Holding an axe is required by default, and the config can change that, including whether crouching is needed. Server owners can cap the number of logs removed in one harvest, which matters for large modded trees. Collective is required for the mod to load. Tree Harvester is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 29 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.

Tree Harvester runs on the server only, so players join without installing it. Public source code and an issue tracker are linked from the project.
