Collective holds the shared code behind Serilum's mods, from config handling to networking, so each of those mods stays small.
What it does
Serilum publishes many small mods for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Collective centralizes what they have in common: config files and the in-game settings menu of dependent mods, helper functions, networking through a common source set, access wideners for private fields and an event for replacing entities. It also lets bundled mods be toggled and handles backwards compatibility across major version changes.
An option controls whether Collective prints a console message when a dependent mod has an update. 207 catalog mods require it, among them Villager Names, Starter Kit, Double Doors and Tree Harvester. It works on either side, and neither needs it to run alone; the license is All rights reserved, with source code available.
