Adventure Items Stats
With Adventure Items Stats installed, weapons and armor found in chests, mob drops and loot tables roll slightly different base stats on each item.
What it does
The multiplier is drawn from a bell curve, so most rolls land close to vanilla values while a few land well above or below. Two iron swords taken from different chests can therefore differ in how hard and how fast they hit.
Each stat is a separate roll, so a sword can come out strong on damage but average on speed, and a chestplate can trade raw armor for toughness. The mod adds no new items or blocks and keeps the vanilla feel. It is aimed at adventure and dungeon-crawl play where gear found in the world should feel distinct. Fabric API is required on all three loaders. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.21.1 only, with menus for configuring the variation. Adventure Items Stats runs on client and server, and it is released under a custom license that is not open source.
Key features
Bell-curve stat variation
Base combat stats are multiplied by a random value drawn from a bell curve, so most items stay near vanilla.
Four varied stats
Attack damage, attack speed, armor and armor toughness each get their own roll, so pieces can differ in several ways.
Loot-table coverage
Variation applies to every item rolled from a loot table, including chests, mob drops, fishing and archaeology.
Configurable menus
In-game menus let players and server owners adjust how strong the variation is.

Every sword and every breastplate you loot rolls a little different. Adventure Item Stats adds subtle Gaussian (bell-curve) variation to the base combat stats of items generated by Minecraft's loot tables. Two Iron Swords pulled from two different chests are no longer identical — one swings a touch faster, the other…
