Ender Chest Persistence
Ender Chest Persistence keeps Ender Chest contents across world resets, so items saved in one run can be reused in the next.
What it does
Without this mod, a new world starts with an empty Ender Chest, because vanilla clears it when a world is created. Ender Chest Persistence stores the chest inventory globally, so it carries over between worlds instead. Survival and creative inventories are kept apart, so a creative stash does not leak into survival play. The mod is server-side only, so only the server needs it and players join without installing anything. It requires Fabric API, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.21.1.
The mod was built for roguelike adventures such as Dungeon Train: A Lore-Rich Roguelite RPG Adventure, where a run ends in loss and a new world begins. It is bundled inside Dungeon Train, and a standalone build is offered for other worlds and modpacks. Setup is simple: place the file in the mods folder and launch Minecraft. The code is published on GitHub under a custom license, so it is not open source under a standard license.
Key features
Global Ender Chest storage
Chest contents are stored once for all worlds, so a world reset does not clear them.
Separate survival and creative stashes
Each game mode keeps its own Ender Chest, so creative items never appear in survival.
Bank rare gear across runs
Rare equipment can be stored between adventures and gradually built up over many runs.
Bundled with Dungeon Train
The same persistence layer ships inside Dungeon Train, and a standalone build is offered for other packs.

How it compares
Double Ender Chest is a Fabric-only, server-side mod for 1.21 – 1.21.11 under a custom license, with no open source code. InventoryProg runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 under the MIT License, and both sides must run it. Ender Chest Persistence targets only 1.21.1 and is server-side only, so players join without installing it.
