Mouse Tweaks adds mouse gestures to inventory screens: improved right-button dragging, two left-button drags and scroll-wheel item moving.

What it does

The standard right-button drag is replaced by a version that places an item again each time the cursor passes over a slot. Two new left-button drags gather or shift matching items in one sweep, with or without an item held, and the scroll wheel moves items between inventories. Each tweak can be turned on or off in MouseTweaks.cfg.

Nothing runs on the server side, so it works on any server. Builds exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and ModLoader across 36 release versions, b1.7.3 – 26.3, plus snapshots, and the BSD 3-Clause License makes it open source.

Key features

  1. Right-button drag

    Dragging over a slot again places another item there, unlike the vanilla drag.

  2. Left-button drags

    Two drag modes collect or shift-move all items of one type with a sweep of the mouse.

  3. Scroll wheel moving

    Scrolling over an item moves it between the open container and the inventory.

  4. Config file

    Each mechanic has its own setting, such as RMBTweak or LMBTweakWithItem.
