Mouse Tweaks x ItemLocks Compat makes the Mouse Tweaks shift-click and drag tools respect item locks set by ItemLocks, on NeoForge for 1.21.1.

What it does

Items locked with ItemLocks stay in place when the player uses Mouse Tweaks. Shift-click organizing and drag actions skip locked slots, and direct clicks on a locked item are blocked, so a locked item cannot be moved by accident. Items that are not locked remain fully usable with Mouse Tweaks, which keeps fast inventory management working outside the locked slots.

The compat mod requires both ItemLocks and Mouse Tweaks to be installed and needs no configuration to work. Only the client needs it, so servers do not need it and players can join without installing it. Builds are published for NeoForge 1.21.1 under the MIT License, which is not open source.

Key features

  1. Drag prevention

    Locked items cannot be picked up by a Mouse Tweaks drag, so a drag across the inventory leaves them where they are.

  2. Click blocking

    Direct clicks on a locked item are blocked, adding a safety layer against accidental moves.

  3. Shift-click respect

    Mouse Tweaks shift-click organizing passes over locked items and moves only the stacks that are free to move.

  4. Automatic operation

    Once both mods are present, the integration works without any extra setup in the inventory.
