Naturally Trimmed
by majo24
Naturally Trimmed applies armor trims to the armor and tools that mobs, loot chests and villager trades produce during normal play, on server-side installs.
What it does
Equipment from mob spawns, loot tables and trades receives trim patterns, so armor found in the wild carries the same decoration that crafted armor can have. Newly spawned mobs get trimmed equipment, chests from structures contain trimmed pieces, and traders such as villagers and wandering traders can sell them. Tools like pickaxes and swords can be trimmed through the same system.
The mod needs Fabric API on Fabric. Every feature has a configuration option, and the optional YetAnotherConfigLib library, plus Mod Menu on Fabric, opens a config screen. Players join without it, since only the server has to run the mod. The code is under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the project is open source. Files exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 21 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3.
