Utility Belt

by Jam Core

Utility Belt adds a wearable second hotbar, so players can keep spare tools and weapons close without filling the main inventory.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1 – 1.21.10

What it does

Equipped in the belt slot, the belt adds a secondary hotbar for tools and weapons, which helps when the nine standard hotbar slots fill up, especially with many mods installed. By default the belt holds four slots, and a Smithing Table recipe adds slots up to six; the limits can be changed in the mod configuration. Items that the belt accepts can also be changed with a datapack that edits the allowed in utility belt tag.

Two belt pouches and the belt itself are crafted from recipes. The mod needs Accessories, Architectury API, Fabric API and JamLib, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.10 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, under the MIT License, and the code is open source. The latest files are dated 2026-05-24 and the mod was first published on 2022-08-19.
