NeoBackSlot lets players equip vanilla items in a Back Slot and a Belt Slot, with per-item transforms that can be adjusted in game.
What it does
Items placed in the Back Slot or Belt Slot stay visible on the player model and remain equipped after respawn. The equipment is shown through transform profiles that set how each item sits on the body, and the in-game transform editor lets a player change those values without editing files. Back Slot and Belt Slot have separate transforms, so a backpack and a belt pouch can be positioned independently.
The mod is a direct port of BackSlot by Globox1997, reimplemented as an independent NeoForge build for Minecraft 1.21.1. It supports only vanilla equipment, which keeps it compatible with heavily modded RPG-style modpacks and most NeoForge modpacks, and it installs without additional libraries. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.1.0 for 1.21.1 as the latest build for both loaders. The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only as open source.
