Shut Up GL Error
by Jam Core
Shut Up GL Error suppresses the repeated OpenGL error messages that some clients print to the log, including ones about invalid keycodes.
What it does
By default the mod silences GL errors completely. It can also be set to log each distinct error code once, or to keep logging every error as usual. The change affects only the client, so a server does not need it. It is installed on the player's side alone, so servers need nothing.
Installation requires Architectury API, Fabric API and JamLib in addition to the mod itself. Files cover game versions 1.20 – 1.21.11, with 2.0.0 as the latest build for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt.
Key features
Silenced error output
Repeated GL error messages are hidden from the log by default, so the console stays readable during play.
Log once mode
An option logs each error code a single time, which keeps a record of what occurred without the flood of repeats.
Configurable logging
Errors can also be logged on every occurrence, restoring the normal output for anyone who needs the full trail.
