by mofumofumoffy

TiCEX, a Forge addon for Tinkers' Construct on Minecraft 1.20.1, adds tools, armor and modifiers that rebuild gear from other mods inside the Tinkers system.

ForgeClient and serverCustom license1.20.1

What it does

TiCEX extends Tinkers' Construct with equipment, modifiers and traits taken from other mods, including Reforged, SlashBlade, Blitz Guns, Revival Spellbooks and Seram Tools and Seram Armor. Most progression starts at the Reconstruction Core, and the mod adds smeltery foundry blocks such as RF Furnaces and a Fluid Transmuter. Its goal is to add random materials and simple stat bonuses on top of the Tinkers base.

The mod needs Moff's AddonAPI-DynLoad and Tinkers' Construct to run. It works with a broad set of optional integrations, among them Ars Nouveau, Botania, CC: Tweaked, Create, Curios API, Draconic Evolution, Mekanism and Re:Avaritia. Some integrations are marked experimental and depend on which mods are installed alongside. Recipes, balance and integrations change between versions, and development is still active. TiCEX runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it. It is published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, and is released under a custom license, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Reconstructed Tinkers gear

Customizable tools and armor built on the Tinkers base rebuild iconic items from other mods.

  2. Cross-mod modifiers

Modifiers bring traits and abilities from other mods onto Tinkers gear, and new ones can be combined with supported items.

  3. Reconstruction Core progression

The Reconstruction Core gates most of the progression, and its recipe can be changed to control when TiCEX items appear.

  4. Smeltery foundry additions

New smeltery and foundry blocks, including RF Furnaces and a Fluid Transmuter, extend the Tinkers material chain.

Questions

Does TiCEX need Tinkers' Construct?

Yes. Tinkers' Construct is a required dependency, and Moff's AddonAPI-DynLoad is also required. Both must be installed for TiCEX to load.

Does TiCEX have to be installed on the server?

Yes. The server and every player need the mod installed.

Why might a TiCEX item be missing in a world?

The Reconstruction Core recipe can be changed by the modpack, so TiCEX content may appear early, late or only at the end of progression.

Which other mods do the integrations need?

Several integrations are optional, including Ars Nouveau, Botania, Mekanism and Create. Some are experimental and depend on which mods are installed.
