Aquaculture Tinkers
by TheV123
Aquaculture Tinkers adds Neptunium, a Tier 4 metal for Tinkers' Construct tools and weapons that smelts quickly and works well underwater.
What it does
Neptunium is a Tier 4 material, so smelting it calls for a heat source of that tier, such as Blazing Blood. Molten Neptunium deals less damage on contact than lava, and it cools faster than other metals. The mod depends on Tinkers' Construct, which supplies the tool and weapon system the new material plugs into, and it is published for Forge on 1.20.1 only, as release 1.0.0 from 2025-02-08.
Neptunium gear gains the Aquadynamic modifier. On melee and ranged weapons and tools it adds 3 damage per level against underwater mobs, and on armor it adds extra resistance while the wearer is underwater. Neptunium tools also dig faster under water. The mod integrates with Aquaculture 2 and Json Things, and the Thingpack materials can be combined with both.
A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The source code is available on GitHub under a custom license that is not open source, which permits use in modpacks but forbids redistributing or re-uploading the mod without permission. The license is worth reading before copying any code.
