Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks
by iron431
With Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks installed, players learn spells from spellbooks and cast them in the classic spellcasting style, drawing on over 100 upgradable spells.
What it does
The mod brings spellcasting from the classic fantasy tradition into Minecraft. Players gather spells and resources, raid structures and delve through dungeons, and face wizard bosses and spellcasting enemies, allies and merchants. Eleven randomly generated structures and two spellcasting bosses give the world its magical sites, while twelve wizard armor sets and weapon imbuement and armor upgrade systems shape how a player builds up a caster.
Settings are configurable, including options for each individual spell, so server owners can tune spell strength and availability. The mod also works with several common compatibility and recipe-viewing mods. Installation needs Forge or NeoForge for 1.21.1. Files are also published for 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.21, and the code is not open source, as the mod is released under All rights reserved.
