L2 Artifacts
by LightLand
L2 Artifacts gives players wearable relics that raise combat stats and grant set bonuses, obtained from defeated hostile creatures.
What it does
Artifacts drop from hostile creatures with high blood volumes, including bosses from other mods and elite mobs. Unidentified artifacts of several qualities appear first and are identified before they can be used, after which artifacts of a given quality can be found at random. Pieces are gathered by killing hostile creatures, then decomposed at a workbench into experience bottles, or upgraded at an anvil with those bottles.
Each upgrade raises a main attribute at random, and a sub-attribute every four levels. Quality tops out at 4 and the level cap is 20. Stat boosts cover attack, health, armor, speed, attack range and attack speed, and wearing matching artifacts in sets activates set effects.
The mod is built for long progression packs and requires AttributeFix, Curios API and L2 Library. L2 Backpack, L2 Complements, Modular Golems and Patchouli are optional. L2 Complements is recommended because endgame items can only be crafted with it installed. L2 Artifacts is part of the L2-LightLand Mods series. It runs on Forge and NeoForge, with client and server both needing it, and is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only. Files exist for 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.
