Barbeque's Delight, a Forge and NeoForge mod, adds grill skewers, seasonings and cooking blocks that extend the barbecue content of Farmer's Delight.
What it does
The mod adds a range of skewers that can be cooked on a grill, along with several seasonings that change how a skewer behaves when eaten. Butchers offer some of the seasonings through villager trades, so players can get them without finding them in the world. Each seasoning has its own effect: cumin restores hunger when eaten, pepper makes eating faster, and chili damages the player but can be eaten even at a full hunger bar.
Blocks for preparing and storing the skewers come with the mod, which keeps the barbecue theme consistent across cooking and storage. Barbeque's Delight requires Farmer's Delight, which supplies the base barbecue content that this mod builds on. Jade is optional and adds block information on screen when installed. Files are published for Forge 1.0.6 on 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.3.0 on 1.21.1, and the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License.
