Modular Golems
by LightLand
Modular Golems lets players craft metal golems whose parts can each be made from a different metal, with upgrades that add abilities or stats.
What it does
The mod adds three golem types: a metal golem that behaves much like an Iron Golem but with higher health and attack, a humanoid golem that can wear armor, hold weapons and raise shields, and a dog golem built for speed. Each golem is assembled from parts, and every part can be made from a different metal with its own properties. Upgrades attach to a golem for extra abilities or stats.
Modular Golems requires L2 Library on both the server and the client, since every player and the server need the mod installed. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.19.2 – 26.1.2. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
Its listed optional integrations include Alex's Caves, Botania, Create, Just Enough Items (JEI), L2 Archery, L2 Backpack, L2 Complements, L2 Hostility, L2 Weaponry, L_Ender's Cataclysm, Patchouli and Touhou Little Maid. Six other catalog mods require it, among them Golem Magicka, Golem Dungeons and Tinkers' Golem.
