Hudless
by ZipeStudio
Hudless hides selected HUD elements in the Minecraft Java Edition interface, following conditions that players set themselves.
What it does
The mod hides HUD elements automatically when the conditions chosen in its settings are met, and the elements fade back with a smooth animation when the conditions no longer apply. It changes only the on-screen interface, so it does not alter the world or the gameplay itself. Fabric API is required, and Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are optional companions for opening and editing the settings.
Hudless runs only on the client, so a single-player or multiplayer player installs it and servers do not need it. Builds exist for Fabric and NeoForge, and the latest files, for 26.2, were published on 2026-07-22. The code is not open source; it is released under the Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0 license, and a public source repository and issue tracker are linked from the project page.
Key features
Automatic HUD hiding
HUD elements are hidden on their own once a chosen condition is met, so the screen stays clear without manual toggling.
Customizable conditions
Players decide which conditions trigger hiding, letting the interface respond to the situations they care about.
Smooth transitions
Elements slide or fade in and out instead of disappearing abruptly, which keeps each change simple to follow.
Compatibility with combat rolls
The mod works alongside the buttons added by Axiom Combat Roll without conflicts.

Use cases
Cinematic screenshots
Players who record video or take screenshots can clear the interface at the moments they want without leaving the game.
Focused exploration
Players who prefer an uncluttered view can keep the HUD hidden until a condition brings it back.
Who it’s for: Players who want a cleaner screen during play or recording, and who run the client with Fabric or NeoForge. Servers do not need to install it.
How it compares
Item Dithering and Entity Dithering both target Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.11 – 26.2 and are client-side only, but they are not open source and cover different graphics. Extra Animations is open source under the MIT License and needs the client, with the server optional, for 1.21.7 – 26.3 on Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt. Hudless is client-side only, not open source, and covers the 16 release versions from 1.21 onward.
