Talking Heads, a client-side addon for Plasmo Voice and Simple Voice Chat, scales a player's head while that player is speaking.

What it does

When a nearby player is talking through a supported voice mod, their head grows in size for as long as the voice signal lasts, which makes the speaker stand out in a crowd. The addon reads the voice state from Plasmo Voice or Simple Voice Chat and changes only how heads are drawn, so nothing is added to the world or to the game's items.

Fabric API is required, and Mod Menu, Plasmo Voice, Simple Voice Chat and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are optional. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 20 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the code is covered by a Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0 license, so the mod is not open source.
