What it does

The addon adds items and tools to Hex Casting, including a Hex Pickaxe that mines when a spell casts through it and a Hex Blade whose attacks draw on media. A Casting Ring lets a player cast without holding a staff. Staves are built from Minecraft materials and carry different media amounts, and the cast patterns are drawn on screen with their direction and angle signature instead of appearing as plain text.

Media pigment tooltips show how much media an item is worth and what its pigment looks like. The addon also includes a few creature-style spells: an excitable frog that tries a double jump, and a cuddly cat that casts inventory rearrangement. Hex Gloop requires Architectury API, Fabric API, Hex Casting and Why Not Be One Item, and it can use Curios API and Trinkets if they are present. HexShield requires it. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and it needs to be installed on the client, while a server may run it for the extra features.
