Headpat a Friend!

With Headpat a Friend!, a player can give a headpat to another player by pressing a key while looking at them, and the petted player purrs in response.
What it does
Headpats are a social gesture between players. A player faces another player and triggers the action, and the other player receives it with purr sounds. The first-person view can be adjusted with a sway strength setting, so the camera movement matches personal preference.
The mod runs on Fabric and is also offered as a plugin for Paper servers. It works on a client alone, a server alone or both. If a server does not have it, players can still headpat each other, but the gesture is only visible to players whose own clients run the mod. Joining a server that has the mod without installing it on the client is supported: players with the mod see and give headpats, while players without it cannot.
Installation needs CICADA and Fabric API on Fabric. The mod bundles Cardinal Components API inside its files. Files exist for 1.21 – 26.2, with 1.0.7+26.2 for 26.2 as the latest Fabric file, released under the MIT License and open source. Settings can be changed in game through Mod Menu and YACL, which are optional.
