CICADA Cape Fix stops the cape that older CICADA versions display from appearing on the client.

What it does

The mod is a small client-side patch for older releases of CICADA. It disables the cape fetching and handling that CICADA performs, which stops the cape reading "hi pls update cicada thx" from appearing on the player model. The mod is applied with a mixin that cancels those operations.

Its only required dependency is CICADA, and it is published for Fabric alone, with a single file for 1.21.8 dated 2025-07-06. The license is CC0 1.0 Universal, and the code is open source with public source code.
