Fixed Anvil Repair Cost
by Serilum
Players who repair gear on an anvil can set a fixed level cost, a fixed material cost and the share of durability restored per action through Fixed Anvil Repair Cost.
What it does
Fixed Anvil Repair Cost changes how repairs on an anvil are priced. The level cost stays the same on every repair instead of rising with each use, and the material cost and the percentage repaired per action can be set independently. A value of 0 for the level or material cost restores vanilla behaviour for that setting.
The defaults charge 3 levels and 1 material per repair, restoring 33.33 percent of an item per action, so three materials fully repair any item. Collective is required on every loader. Fixed Anvil Repair Cost is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 29 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3. All rights reserved applies to its license, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Fixed level cost
Each repair costs a set number of levels, from 0 up to 100, and the cost does not climb as an item is repaired again.
Material amount
The number of materials used per repair can be set from 0 to 64, letting server owners tune how fast gear is restored.
Repair percentage
The share of durability restored per action can be set between 0 and 1, so the material count needed for a full repair can change.
Vanilla fallback
Setting the level or material cost to 0 keeps the vanilla anvil rules for that value.
